Smoking is a leading cause of chronic diseases in Jackson and the United States. Not to mention, it’s expensive. We can help you quit this costly and life-threatening habit once and for all. The PHPSM Smoking Cessation program enables members to receive personal smoking cessation support from one of our Registered Nurses, in addition to a three-month supply of prescription medication for a $25 copay. Medications available under the Smoking Cessation program include:

Zyban 150 mg tabs (60 per month)
NicoDerm CQ patches 7 mg, 14 mg or 21 mg (28 per month)
Nicorette gum 2 mg or 4 mg (108 tabs per box per month)

The personal smoking support program includes:

Initial assessment from one of our Registered Nurses
Quit Kit with Quit Plan
Follow up assessments
