Clinical Practice Guidelines are uniform, consistent and measurable practice guidelines developed in accordance with the most current medical literature research and scientific evidence.

They provide a consistent performance measure amongst all practitioner/providers and enable PHPSM to identify care improvement opportunities with practitioners and providers as needed.
